ごあいさつ
気鋭の木口木版画家 赤池ももこ。その第一期集大成とも言える個展です。
個展タイトルの『秒針』は最も細い線を意味しています。作者の彫る木口木版の極細線は、閉じられた世界の多感な少女たちの感情を巧みに表現しています。
『秒針』はまた、立ち止まらずに進むという、海外への渡航を控える作者の意気込みの表れでもあります。
ぜひ個展会場で作品をご鑑賞ください。

最寄り駅からのアクセス
・JR・私鉄・地下鉄：「新宿駅」(西口) より徒歩約10分
・地下鉄丸ノ内線：「西新宿駅」 (C8出口)より徒歩約2分
「西新宿駅」の改札を出て、右方向、東京都庁方面への地下通路を進みおよそ2分歩くと右側にC8出口ヒルトン東京のサインが見えます。エスカレーターにて地下1階のヒルトピアショッピングアーケードに上がり、ヒルトピアアートスクエアの館内表示を目印にお進みください。
・地下鉄大江戸線：「都庁前駅」A7出口より徒歩約3分
「都庁前」の改札を出て、真っ直ぐ進むと右側にA7出口丸ノ内線西新宿駅方面のエスカレーターがあります。エスカレーターを上ると左側に丸ノ内線方面への地下通路となりますので、矢印に沿って3分程度歩きますと左側にC8ヒルトン東京のサイン が見えます。エスカレーターにて地下1階のヒルトピアショッピングアーケードに上がり、ヒルトピアアートスクエアの館内表示を目印にお進みください。
赤池ももこプロフィール
赤池 ももこ Momoko Akaike
輪切りにした木の断面へ彫刻する、木口木版(こぐちもくはん)技法で制作をしています。
入口も出口もない内面世界の温室に産まれた少女たちの密やかな感情を、白と黒の世界で描きます。
I use the koguchimokuhan (woodblock print) technique of engraving on a section of wood that has been sliced into rings.
In a world of black and white, I depict the secret emotions of girls born in a greenhouse of an inner world with no entrance or exit.

I use the Wood engraving technique, which involves engraving on a section of wood that has been cut into rings.
In a world of black and white, she depicts the secret emotions of girls born in a greenhouse of the inner world with no entrance or exit.
