熊や鹿が出るほどの山深い山形に生まれ、窓から樹々に話しかけて育った設樂雅美。その作品は、花や果実がクローズアップされ、あるいは枝葉が画面いっぱいに広がり、光と風で溢れています。カラフルでありながら抑制の効いた色彩は、自然の魅力を心地よく伝え、日本人誰もが持つ原風景の記憶を呼び覚まします。ぜひご高覧ください。
Born in the deep mountains of Yamagata, where bears and deer roam, Masami Shitara grew up talking to the trees from her window. Her works feature close-ups of flowers and fruits, or branches and leaves spreading across the entire canvas, overflowing with light and wind. The colorful yet restrained colors convey the charm of nature in a pleasant way, evoking memories of the original landscape that all Japanese people have. Please take a look.
